Carry-over 2.8 diesel 150 kW / 500 Nm 6AT on the ninth gen; no Fortuner Neo Drive 48V and no ADAS on India spec. Black Edition was a pack on gen 8, not a generation. No official India Hilux recall as of 19 August 2026. India launch: 31 March 2022.
