Current car is the facelift (Modern Solid grille with illuminated light band, connected tails, 8-speed AT on 1.0 TSI, panoramic sunroof). 1.0 TSI 6MT/8AT and 1.5 TSI 7DSG. 188 mm ground clearance. Global NCAP 5-star on the original body (14 October 2022). Monte Carlo is a trim, not a generation. Two 2025 seat-belt campaigns sit on the pre-facelift body (production through 31 May 2025); none listed on the facelift as of 19 August 2026. India launch: 28 June 2021.

SAVWIPL / SIAM / in a frontal collision the rear seat-belt buckle latch plate may break, and/or the webbing of the rear-centre belt assembly along with the rear-right buckle may fail, posing a safety risk to rear passengers.
