Facelift generation map

JSW MG Motor India's first India SUV since 27 June 2019 (India's first Internet Car), a Halol-built Baojun 530 / Wuling Almaz rebadge. One generation, three bodies on the map: the original 27 June 2019 look (star-rider chrome grille, 10.4-inch portrait, 1.5 turbo 6MT/DCT, 48V hybrid and 2.0 diesel), the 11 January 2023 Next-Gen facelift (Argyle diamond grille, 14-inch portrait, L2 ADAS; DCT and 48V dropped) and the current 15 December 2025 second facelift (Aura Hex honeycomb grille, Aura Sculpt bumpers, Aura Bolt alloys, i-SWIPE). 7 January 2021 dual-tone/18-inch pack is not a map row. Hector Plus is the 6/7-seat sibling. Official India recall: ~14,000-unit August 2021 BS6 petrol-DCT emissions software campaign on the original body.     Defect

    ICAT Manesar conformity-of-production tests found hydrocarbon and NOx variations versus type approval on BS6 petrol-DCT samples. MG: software issue; no hardware change required.

    What was changed

    Dealers contact owners; free software re-flash. MG planned to complete re-flashing by December 2021, Covid permitting. Diesel, petrol MT, hybrid and CVT not in this campaign.
