Kia's flagship three-row MPV in India since 5 February 2020 (Auto Expo). Two India generations on the map: third-generation YP from 5 February 2020 (2.2 CRDi 200 hp / 440 Nm 8AT; Premium/Prestige/Limousine 7/8/9-seat; CKD at Anantapur; left April 2023 when it did not meet BS6 Phase 2) and the current fourth-generation KA4 from 3 October 2024 (2.2 CRDi 193 hp / 441 Nm 8AT, Limousine Plus 7-seat only). The current car is globally a KA4 II facelift (Korea 27 October 2023), but India never sold the original 2020 KA4 body (shown Auto Expo 2023 only) — versus the India YP it is a NEW generation, not a facelift of a body sold here. Launch Rs 63.90 lakh; Kia India later lists about Rs 59.45 lakh. No later India facelift after this KA4 as of 19 August 2026. No official India SIAM recall as of 19 August 2026. Kia 3 October 2024 as a single Limousine Plus 7-seat from Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) after bookings Rs 2 lakh from 16 September (2,796 bookings at launch).
Kia India later lists Limousine+ about Rs 59.45 lakh.
Globally this body is the KA4 II facelift (Korea unveil 27 October 2023).
India never sold the original 2020 KA4 (Auto Expo 2023 show car only).
Versus the India-sold YP it is a NEW generation, not a facelift of a body sold here — map label is Fourth generation (KA4), not 'facelift of KA4'.
