Kia's three-row family MPV since 15 February 2022, built at Anantapur on a stretched Seltos/Creta (K2) KY body. One ICE generation, two bodies on the map: the original 15 February 2022 look (Star Map split lamps, 4,540 × 1,800 × 1,700 mm, 2,780 mm wheelbase; 1.5 NA 6MT, 1.4 T-GDi 6MT/7DCT and 1.5 diesel 6MT/6AT, then 16 March 2023 1.5 T-GDi 160 hp 6iMT/7DCT replacing the 1.4) and the 23 May 2025 Carens Clavis facelift (Digital Tiger Face, triangular Star Map lamps, dual panoramic screens, Level 2 ADAS). Clavis is a facelift on the same K2 platform, not a new generation; sold alongside a stripped original-body Prestige (O) entry SKU. Clavis EV is a related battery-electric line, not an ICE generation. 2.77 lakh India wholesales in four years to February 2026. Two official India SIAM campaigns on the original body (44,174 airbag-ACU software, 4 October 2022; 30,297 instrument-cluster software, 26 June 2023). No official SIAM recall on the Clavis body as of 19 August 2026. India launch: 15 February 2022.

16 March 2023 (; not a map facelift): RDE/E20 1.5 T-GDi 160 hp / 253 Nm 6iMT/7DCT replaced the 1.4; turbo and diesel lost 6MT for 6iMT; diesel 116 hp; from Rs 10.45–18.95 lakh.
Safety
Six airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-start and descent, all-wheel discs, TPMS and rear sensors standard at launch.
