Defect
Jeep India: fuel-supply-line connector may crack, resulting in a leak from the fuel lines, which may cause a fire hazard. Affected fully imported Unlimited and Rubicon units identified by VIN. Locally assembled Wrangler not involved. Jeep: no customer fuel-leak or fire complaints known at announcement.
What was changed
Dealers contact the 39 owners by email and phone; from 1 November 2021 authorised workshops inspect the connector and replace it if necessary, at no cost.
