Hyundai's India three-row SUV since 18 June 2021, long-wheelbase Creta (K2) built at Chennai. One generation, two bodies on the map: the original 4,500 mm 2021 look (unveil 8 April 2021; 2.0 MPi petrol 159 hp / 192 Nm 6MT/6AT plus 1.5 CRDi diesel 115 hp / 250 Nm) and the 9 September 2024 facelift (H-shaped LED DRLs and connected light bars, dual 10.25-inch screens, Level 2 ADAS; 4,560 mm). The 2.0 NA was replaced 7 March 2023 by 1.5 T-GDi 160 hp / 253 Nm 6MT/7DCT — an engine swap, not a map facelift. Current car is that facelift: 1.5 T-GDi 6MT/7DCT and 1.5 CRDi 6MT/6AT, 2,760 mm wheelbase, 6- or 7-seat. Knight is a cosmetic pack, not a generation. No official India Alcazar recall as of 20 August 2026. India launch: 18 June 2021 (unveil 8 April 2021).
